Wire routing for roof rack lights

Other than drilling a hole and using a grommet, how else have you guys gotten power to the lights on your roof rack?

I’m sure I’ll figure out a way that works for me, but I’d still like to see how others have done it.

I drilled, used a grommet, and added a bit of silicone sealant.

I've read about using the same wire path as the rear window wiper motor and washer pump, but I've never chased it to see if it's viable.
