Smittybilt gen 2 tire carrier

The pivot is worn out on my tire carrier. Smittybilt wants 250 for the hardware kit that has all the nuts and bolts and bushings in it. Any thoughts on repairing this one or maybe a better one. I am not sure this kit will repair the problem and might end up rebuilding the whole carrier!

I have a Smittybilt bumper and on the part that holds the tire where it swings on the pin I can tighten a bolt on the top and bottom side. That is the adjustment to make it inline when it goes to the latch position. Is yours like this?
