With or without grill?

Me and my wife have a difference of opinion on the look of the grill insert. I would like a second opinion. Let me know what you think.

My personal taste: without, for sure.

The blue clashes with crimson. Do a tonal American flag that uses greys and black. Would look tough.

EDIT: nice looking Jeep, BTW. Awesome stance.

I have a perforated insert just to protect my radiator and tranny cooler from flying objects.
But Threepointsix has a point, it doesn't really match your scheme.

without matches the build.
The black and gray is better.
But I would really be concerned about air flow when crawling.

To just protect the radiator from birds bees and sticks, I used some cheap 3/8 inch galvanized mesh from home depot.
