If anyone is in Vegas, NV or St. George, UT, it may be worth taking a trip 45 min north from Vegas or an hour south of St. George and head to the Moapa Valley/Logandale area to Valley of Fire State Park.
We went on a whim today from St. George, due to rare shitty weather. We got lucky. There are OHV/camping and hiking trails. Washboard, sandy and rocky terrain. It’s rated “moderate” on Alltrails app, but pretty doable without too much lift and at least some AT tires. I aired down to about 18psi and the Jeep did great. Great stops along the way to hike for a minute, especially to let my 3yo boy drive his monster truck out on the dirt.
