Hello all new to the forum and was wondering Will a driveshaft from a 2021 jlu fit a 2008 jk? Found one about a hr away from my location for super duper cheap basically brand new lol. I currently don't have one as it came without one im the 2nd owner so wondering if it would fit. Was also looking at the tom woods but not looking to spend that much right now as I just dropped 4k on it on a bunch of repairs death wobble heater core and heater core filter system tires full brakes rotors etc started adding up fast tia

Is your Jeep lifted or are you planning to lift it? If so you may want to buy a aftermarket one because the stock one doesn't work very well for a lifted Jeep.

That's what happens when you use a stock driveshaft with that much lift and offroad.
Idk it was funny when I bought the jeep off him and he walked out the garage like heres the old driveshaft which I wasn't worried about at the time lol now I'm trying to get everything 100 percent and I guess ima need a tom woods driveshaft 🤑🤑 thanks bro any idea how do I find out the size I need ima look on the forum as well new so kinda weird trying to see where everything is

Best thing to do is contact Tom Woods and tell him you have a 4" lift and the year of your Jeep and he'll be glad to sell you the right one.

I was in the exact same situation as you. As an option, I found a driveshaft on eBay. It was a Pro Comp and I managed to find it on sale for $225 which I believe was a steal. It was rated for up to a 4 inch lift and fit perfectly on my jeep. Been very happy with it, probably not as good of quality as a Woods but significantly more substantial than the stock one. Unfortunately I cannot find that one online anymore.
