When I started looking for a Jeep Wrangler I was unsure what to expect as far as handling. One of the things I enjoy most about a vehicle is how it respond to driver input and a good level feedback. The JK was an unknown to me. I was completely surprised when I took my JK I ended purchasing for a test drive. Coming from an '09 Frontier Pro 4x with an outrageous turning radius and leaf spring rear setup, the JK provided much better feedback and response. Yes, it may sound strange to evaluate a Jeep in those terms, however, it's one of those surprise features of my '14 Sahara. The JK's stable mate (see below) provides a great baseline for what I have come to expect as far as how a vehicle should handle when pushed to the limits. No, I am not comparing the handling of the JK to a 370z Nismo, what I am saying is that both vehicles offer an almost unexplained fun factor when you sit behind the wheel and use them as intended. My New Year's resolution is to do just that, to enjoy both vehicles as the engineers who designed them intended in a safe responsible fashion and just a little reckless abandon :)
