Thinking about going with a BFG Mud Terrain in this size. Wondering if anyone has run this sized tire on a stock rim? I'd like to have the tires not sticking outside of the fender flares or rubbing when I turn. Thoughts?

I'm going back to stock fender flares soon. My understanding was that you could squeeze in 35" tires with a 2.5" lift but would have some rubbing issues? I'm more interested if anyone has run that narrow of a 33" tire and how it looks / works?

Pizza cutters are a unique look nowadays. Sorry, no experience with that exact ratio.

I have a 2.5" lift with 35s but I don't disconnect. I'm looking at the Mopar high top fenders because aftermarket ones don't really interest me and I'd like more articulation on the trails

I think I'm definitely going to go for a pizza cutter setup. If for no other reason than I really like pizza....

I had that same size tires in a 16" on my truck and they would go through anything and didn't hurt my mileage. I've had to many bad experiences with wide tires and snow drifts, also standing water.

The tall and thin tires will be much better for daily driving, driving in the rain, etc.

They won't be nearly as good off-road, but if you don't plan on doing much off-roading, then nothing to worry about there.

They should also have an effect on fuel economy to some degree (though probably not much since the aerodynamics and weight of these JKs is not in our favor).

I plan on doing some trails around Arkansas and unpaved forest roads. My last jeep (several years ago) was a 1990 YJ with 31” all terrains. I took that thing places it had no business going (got it stuck a few times too).

I’m not planning on doing any rock crawling or anything too hardcore. It seems like a 33” mud tire with a winch and recovery gear should get me anywhere I would want to go?

I have 35s with a 2.5 inch lift and have had zero rubbing issues.

Absolutely.

If you're not planning on doing any major rock crawling or mudding, those tires will be just fine, in fact, I don't even thing you need a M/T, an A/T would be a better choice, a tire such as the KO2 or Duratrac for instance is a fine choice.

if you plan on using spacers, know what you are getting into. Personally I really, really don't like them. I like to be able to walk around my vehicle with a torque wrench and double check that all the wheels are tight. You loose that with spacers. How much do you trust loc-tite?

My 2 cents.

Good points - I've never been a fan of spacers either.
