What is the best way to stop water leaks around doors?

If you have the hard top, There is a foam sticky kit on the market. As for a soft top, this is just an alignment issues. We drive with our sunrider option open 2 weeks ago while in Wyoming. it's been raining in MD for the past week and we've developed a leak also. Otherwise, it really depends on where the leak is entering the cabin. Ours is from the drivers side left corner of the door. I suspect as I said above I haven't sealed the sunrider to the windshield correctly and will have to look into doing as soon as the weather clears.

This might sound odd, but I've noticed when I open the door when it's raining and if rain drips onto the rubber seal, it will start leaking there so best clean/dry the seals before you enter the jeep.

I've also seen extended drip edges and might invest in one myself.

Have a Jk, learn to live with it. It will only get worse. Take a knife and slit all your drain plugs. If you do not have a mouse problem just remove them. But remember to put them back in, if you go swimming. I learned this the hard way when we had our 100 yr flood back in 03.

I had a leak on the passenger side door. Seemed to me it was coming from water channeling down the A pillar. Used some self adhesive auto weather stripping and it went away.

I refuse to accept the, “it’s a Jeep, deal with it” concept. I’ve got an 01 TJ that, at one point, leaked. After some inspection, I concluded it was a door seal, which I replaced. No more leaks, no matter how much it rains.

Another preventative thing I do is moisten all my door seals with Fluid Film. I spray it between the seals and the doors. I also rub the Fluid Film onto the seals with a rag. Keeps them moist and pliable. Did this with both my Jeeps. So far, knock on wood, it’s been affective.

Gave up on the Fluid Film here. But this is Muskoka, four seasons of wild weather. Maybe down Jersey way, and the UK, does it ever stop raining there?

I bought Drip Rail Extensions from the company below. I don't know if the advertise here, but they should.
I purchased the paint to match and it blends right into my Jeeps lines. I don't even see them and I put them on.
Stopped the water dripping in my Jeep.

HOT PRODUCT!! Our patented Drip Rail Extensions JK 2007-2018 Jeep JK Wranglers with a hard top. The Drip Rail Extensions eliminates the annoying rain water that drains from the gutters on the factory freedom panels and from the seam where the panels meet the windshield frame. The extensions attaches to the windshield frame with 3M automotive two sided tape and directs the water flow forward and outward so it exits at the base of the windshield frame instead of pouring down on the driver or the passenger when the door is opened. They also redirect the water from running into the passenger compartment. They are available in a Smooth Customer Paint to Match or smooth Satin Black and Gloss Black with UV film protection. Customers also use them with soft tops.
The drip rail extensions will work with the Best top Sunrider and factory soft tops.
