Has anyone installed the Daystar 'upgrade' to thier hood latches? I have a 2017, and the upgrade rubber pieces seem smaller than the OEM. Does this or could this cause problems? Thanks in advance. 👍🏻

Have you thought about the hood latches for the LJ? The install is very easy, minor drilling and they look great while eliminating hood flutter 👍🏼

Stay away from rubber latch. I got this on mine - was on sale for $23 from Amazon. NO drilling.

I have the Daystar ones on my 98 Wrangler and my sons 97 Wrangler. The ones on my 98 have been on there for years. On both vehicles the flutter is gone. The straps are made from urethane and require more effort to latch the hood. I would recommend them. I have a set waiting to be installed in my 2013 JKU.

I installed these JL Hood Latches Just used a round file to mod out the alignment holes and then use some touch up paint on the bare metal. Zoom in on the hood latch to see
