Anyone have trouble lock the front latches on a new factory dual top. Someone told me it needs to stretch.
Anyone have trouble locking the front latches on a new soft top?

Can you loosen something up at the rear so you can pull the front forward and latch it? The put the rear back however it needs to be.
Yep, when you install a new soft top, they are very, very tight and need to stretch out. First time I did it, it took some serious force to latch it shut.
Also don't hook the rear corners yet. Latch the front then hook the corners. Also, make sure the rear bow straps are not twisted or wrapped around the frame in any way.

Make sure to sit in an area that gets great sun and let that baby heat up to be able stretch into place.
