Ok doing my research early on so that when the time comes, hopefully early July, I’ll have the info I need to order my goodies. Pretty much have my suspension picked out along with wheels and tires. Wheels are going to be 17x8 with 4.5” of backspacing on 37’sx12.5” tires. My question: with the 4.5” of backspacing, is that going to push the wheels out as if I had adapters on it or would I need to get adapters to push them out? I know the 4.5” backspacing is what’s required for the lift but I want stance as well.
Thanks!

Here’s the same set up except my wheels are 20” instead of 17” (no spacers)

They stick out further than when I had factory wheels with 1.5” spacers on.

Ideal backspacing for a 12.5" wide tire is right around 5.2".

With that backspacing the tires will just barely stick out past the fenders. So with 4.5" backspacing, they'll likely stick out about .75" more. It won't be terrible, but still enough to get the cops hounding you about mud flaps.

So in other words I won’t need adapters to get the stance I’m looking for
