Will a 35" tire fit on the stock wheel?

It will fit but the real question will it be the correct rim for the width of the tire, the answer for that is no. If it was me i'd want at least a 10" wide rim for a 35" tall tire.

It will fit on the stock wheel, but if you don't have at least a 2" lift, then you're not going to be able to drive it.

We put 315/70 R17s on our factory rims. These come out to about a 34.5" tire. We haven't had any issues, however we have a 2.5" lift.
So as Chris stated, you will need a lift!

Big no to a 10” width rim. Keep it 8.5” at most. 17x8.5 is the perfect size for a 35. 8.5” width will give you barely any poke.

I'm not 100% wrong by saying 10" it's just what i'd prefer. I just searched 2 different tire Manufacturers and 1 said 8.5 to 10 and the other said 8 to 11.

Just think about what vehicle we are referring too and what most do with this vehicle. Rocks and all kinds of other crap will get stuck in the tires and sling all over the side of the Jeep with a 10” wide rim. If the skateboard look is what somebody wants I guess go wide

You're right it all depends on what you do with your Jeep. The OP wasn't real specific on his plans or driving habits and just ask if it would fit on a stock rim. Everyone has there own opinions and that's what these Forums are for, to give help and options on doing the many things that can be done with a Jeep.

Thank you for your replies I plan on putting a 3.5 to 4 inch lift on it I just didn't want to spend the money for new rims this year with a lift, tires, retractable rock sliders, new front and rear bumpers,I have enough money going out the door so far
