So I tried to replace my jounce bumpers on the front today. This thing had steel plates that were bolted to the upper post cups. I had to use a sawzall and cut the nuts off due to rust, and the posts were full of dirt. Has anyone ran across something like this before?
Also, I never could get the new bumpers all the way into the cups. I think due to rust. If they fall out, is it possible to just glue a puck on the bottom instead?
