That is correct. I changed my gears to 4:10 and the trans went into limp mode. As soon as I reprogrammed it was all good. I bought A Flashpaq. It was pricey but I changed tire size and gear size. I can program all kinds of stuff with it.

My thoughts exactly. Planning on something similar. Trans cooler already in the works.

What brand lift kit did you buy?

2.5" lift 33" tires. I did recalibrate the speedo. I also did a gear swap from 3:21 to 4:11's so I could tow up to 3500lbs.

My 2014 had 35,800 miles on it. Brought to dealer under warranty (thank God). They said it was upper oil pan leaking. They pulled transmission and said while they were at it they would do rear main seal. I found out later there was a TSB on the rear main seal issue. I now have a very tiny leak...

My speedo only seems off by 1 to 2 mph

Its supposed to be 2400 rpm @70mph with 33' tires. It's 4000rpm @ 60. Something is not right.

I had my 14 JKU Re-Geared from 3:21's to 4:11's, Now I have a P0731 code. RPM's @60 are 4000. I'm hoping i need to have pcm re-flashed or did I just throw $1600 away?

Hello all. I'm looking at re-gearing my JK. I have an auto trans and currently have 3.21 w my 33" tires. It's not too bad but looking to up my towing capabilities. I've done the mat and was curious if anyone can confirm that with 4.11 gears and 33" tires I would be running between 2400-2500 RPM...

It does not look OEM to me. Might be a switch for rock lights if you don't have any other exterior lights.
