Well we’ve got good reports on JKS, AEV, and Teraflex. I’ll have to compare them more closely and then post more specific questions.

What brand driveshaft did you get?

Anything about it in particular?

Seems like the aftermarket DC driveshafts are narrower than the stock one; do you know if the narrower shaft eliminates the exhaust interference and the need for exhaust spacers?

Did you install the exhaust extensions? Was there interference between the driveshaft and the exhaust crossover?

Ok; I’ll add JKS to the list. I have a few JKS components on my LJ. Are you happy with the shocks?

Is this an issue with the front driveshaft only? How much lift can the rear driveshaft tolerate?

I installed the SwayLoc a couple weekends ago. Took me most of a Saturday. The instructions are good but not always clear. I took my time so I wouldn’t make any mistakes and have to back up and redo anything. We haven’t tried it off road yet but on road it seems as good or better than stock.

The sway loc arrived. Hoping to install it tomorrow. I’ll post some photos and let you all know how it goes. Also I’m selling my “Texas” Jeep, a ‘95 Sahara, in case anyone is looking for a good YJ!

Not to hijack the thread, but i just started learning about this; we have an intermittent ABS light and the code says Erratic signal Right rear. I was in there to adjust the parking brake shoes and cleaned the tone ring and sensor a bit with brake cleaner and a small brush. It wasn’t too hard...

Do the springs just lose tension over time? I saw the handle assembly is still for sale and not as expensive as i would have guessed. If it would take up a lot of cable slack and last 7-10 years I might go that route

It seems part of the reason these get loose is that there is a clock spring in the handle assembly that is supposed to take up slack in the cable before the splitter, and it gets weak. Either the spring loses its power, or gets gummed up. When I removed the console it was pretty dirty under...
