Update. I've replaced the shifter with a used one found on eBay. Will keep you posted. I'm crossing fingers because to do this. I disconnected the negative battery cable. When I did that last time the shifter solenoid worked several times in a row, but the next day the problem reappeared...

Has anyone resolved this issue? I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler sport with the 3.6 engine. While driving, just like the first poster said, the transmission slips out of drive into neutral and back. Or I can pull over to the side of the road. Put it in neutral back in the drive and get home. I'm...
