2008 JKU "Argenta" Build Thread (plus an Islander side project)

Since I did the LS Swap I went with the RPM Extreme conversion kit. If I had to do it all over again I would have went with the Holley Terminator X solution since I did LS. I think if I ever do another one it would be a HEMI swap. The LS3 is cool but getting the everything working together is a...

That’s what have in both of mine. The difference is ridiculous. Are you going to convert to a Holley Terminator X? If not what is your plan there?

I am not sure if you have but I would put a hydro assisted steering in. The factory will whine like crazy once you swap the engine.

What scares be about all the horsepower....The short answer is my dumb ass. The second is I did not go with the wider Dana 60's. I went with the ESGS bolt in DANA 60 that are the same width. This thing is wicked fast with 37's and 4.88 gears. I have had it at 125+ on the highway and it had...

I love horsepower and love the HP my jeep has but I am not going to lie, It is scary at times. I went with the 6.2 LS3 with 525 horsepower and 486 lb.-ft. of torque. That being said for only $1900 I would do the upgrade!

That's the thing when you are searching for a swap candidate, You have no idea what is really underneath until you get inside them. I tried 3 swap candidates before I went with a crate LS3.

Yes 2007 - 2011 have a different ECU that will not allow all the cool features to function with the aftermarket devices like you had installed. The 2012 and newer JKs get WAY more features with these types of devices!!
