Here are some more shots and more info. The red and black wires are attached to connectors and become purple and black wires. The black wire is grounded to the chassis and the purple wire dives down under the brake fluid reservoir and disappears into the cab by the master cylinder. For shits...

I followed the wires to a connector where they changed color and then disappeared into a junction of wires. If this was done after market they did a very nice job of making it look original. I got a better picture of the “US” imprint and it does say “Thomas“ next to “Gardner Denver.“
