The one attached to the pink one just has a bullet connector on it, the other wire was about the same size attached to a ground stud on the driver side inner fender next to the PCM.

According to the diagram of the pinout that is the Fused run start relay output. If it just triggers the start cycle I wonder if I could do a bypass to get the vehicle started .

That was my initial thought, and now it seems like that is most likely what happened.

Yup found the pink and grey wire and that black connector is spliced into it inside the PCM connector.

Same as yours one large red splitting into two reds link was fine. I searched the entire area and could not find another wire that it would plug into.
