Well like I said, the tire I plan to get is available in both 17 and 18 so tire selection is not an issue. I'm really trying to find out from experienced jeepers if there are any real performance differences

Thanks. I think what I was trying to say is that I don't want to do major fabrications to my Jeep. I thought the kits come with the necessary parts to make the geometry corrections like the sway bar links. I do want to level it and also have a small bit of lift. I guess I don't fully understand...
