Just bought new 17x9 rims for my jku, looking to get 285 70 r17s tô put on but the sites I look at say that that’s too big? Can I do it? Any advice for a good wheel size to look nice? Thanks!

It's all good, i have those all the time haha. So in conclusion the 17's are a good way to go, lots more choices and I can mount bigger wheels later on. There is nothing major i have to change when I get 17's? It's a smooth transition?
these are the rims i am looking at to start out with for a while (I am new to this jeep thing), they come with some 265x70 r17's as they show in the picture, planned on keeping those on through the winter until i get bigger tires to put on? Sound like a good idea?
My 2012 Sahara came with the stock 65x70 r18 in rim , can i switch to a 65x70 r17 in rim without any noticeable difference or problems? Or should I stay away from that? Thanks
