2008 3.8 throttle enhancer: which is best?

No. Not a Jeep. I have driven other brands though. I see no reason to think that those would do anything different to the pedal commander. Do you?

2008 3.8 throttle enhancer: which is best?

It doesn't, obviously. The context of the post you replied to was clear, I thought. I think things like pedal commander are pretty much useless. Building a more powerful engine is the answer.

2008 3.8 throttle enhancer: which is best?

Not really. It's also about not turning into a rolling road block. That may not be an issue if you're in the flatlands, but it certainly is in Colorado. I'd change "instead" to "as well"... I have a C5 making 850HP. You can have more than one toy. :)

    Aftermarket fenders?

We built two JKURs. I call them the Amazon builds because virtually everything I did was bought on Amazon. I used Hooke Road fenders and Vijay bumpers. They're great for light wheeling and inexpensive to replace if/when you crunch one. The JL is built with all Motobilt armor. It's about twice...

Need recommendations for new driveshafts for my 2015 JK

I have gotten quite a few from Tom Woods Driveshafts. Their order process walks you through exactly what numbers they need. I built a V8 YJ that had (from memory) a front drive shaft something like 14" long. They sent me a double cardan and despite the crazy short length, I never had any...

    Newbie wanting overland build advice

I'm not an overlander, because Mrs. Dog likes her comforts, so it's places with spas for us. All builds are about compromise. An overlanding build will, of necessity, result in limitations to your trail capability. Most overland builds result in mounting a lot of stuff on the top, which raises...

2008 3.8 throttle enhancer: which is best?

The pedal control modules do little or nothing. If you want to improve throttle response, start with tire size and gear ratio. Or (and nobody will be surprised when I say this) a V8 swap. Our recent experiences are: 2011 JKUR with 3.8L and 4:10 differential gears and an A4 and 35" tires. It...

True enough, but that's broken, not removed. The OP is posting from Oregon. In Oregon, and all of the USA, removing the cats is illegal. Admittedly, the smog laws are not always sensible. For example, it is illegal to change the number or location of the cats, even if doing so results in a...

It is no longer 1974. Removing the cats makes virtually no difference. Certainly not enough to feel. And what little gain there is, is only at high RPMs. Which is not a place Jeeps should be living. The 3.8L was rated at 200HP brand new. My wife considers that to be enough. I do not. So I...

    LED headlight recommendations?

No codes. Pretty much P&P. Working from memory (which can be a frightening thing at this point...) they have a hyperflash resistor included.

What did you do to your JK today?

Not today, but here's a couple shots from our trip over Medano Pass to the Great Sand Dunes. And for no particular reason, here's one of our domesticated polar bears.
