    Really the only thing to blacken them up is dye. A "waterproofer" spray might darken them slightly but youd have to test it to see

    Shopping for a jk. Sold my YJ a couple years back. I did a v8 swap and dana 60, 14bolt axles. 37" tires. Got rid of it because not enough room for the wife and 3 kids. JK wont go that extreme.... well.... not at first :)

    Definitely have the place that did the axle bearing and seal look at it. Make sure they tightened everything up adequately

    Hard to tell from the pic, but yeah looks like stock mount. You'll know if ifs too much weight if your back gate starts to sag
