Did you do the install? I am going to do mine. Wondering how difficult it will be without a lift? I’ve got a couple jacks and a bunch of jackstands.

What do you mean it’s just a 2.5” lift. I don’t want anything too crazy and want to run 35” tires.

Anyone have any experience, and or opinions about a Metalcloak game changer 2.5” lift? Want to install it on my 2007 JK.

Bought the Jeep used. No rust at all except in one spot on the skid. I figure some water must sit right over that spot.

Thanks guys. That helps. Hope to get in contact with someone on here who has actually dropped the skid. I am going to run as much gas out of the tank as possible before I do the install. Just looking for confirmation about whether the skid bolts also hold the gas tank in place or not.

Has anyone out there replaced their gas tank skid plate? Mine has rusted through. I don’t want to cover it up. I have a Rough County skid ready to install but can’t find much info on the install. Main concern is what holds the tank up. Don’t want it to drop when I remove the old skid plate.

I am looking to replace my brake lines on my 2007 JK with stainless steel lines. I have a 2” lift. What length lines do I need? I am looking at Rubicon Express. Any suggestions would be great.

Where can I a freedom panel seal kit for 2007 jeep jk? I can find the ones for 2011 and up all over but none for the 2007 to 2010 hard tops.
