I live in Australia my biggest distance 4wd trip was Cape York 7000 kilometers return ,i did that in my XJ, i have had a 2000 mod TJ ,a 2005 TJ, a 2006 KJ Cherokee, you call them liberty and my wife had a 2007 KJ as well both my TJ,s and XJ were heavily modified, here a 4 inch lift and 35 is considered highly modified and illegal , my JK will remain stock , it has no issues, no death wobbles ,no other consequences from modifying and its a pleasure to drive
