Yes, it does reduce the noise some. That said, my tires are very aggressive with large lugs and are ridiculously loud. They are getting replaced tomorrow morning. 57k miles is enough...
Replaced the steering dampner and shocks with Bilstein 5100. The old shocks and dampner were shot. Jeep now rides stiffer, which I prefer, and soaks up county road pot holes and washed out farm roads
Getting 17.3 with 2.5" lift and 35s on a 2018. I did measure the tires for height and reset the computer. I run the tires at 24psi. Gears are still stock, 3.21.
Looking to upgrade the hinges and increase the weight capacity of the tire carrier. Leaning toward the Teraflex HD hinged tire carrier. Anyone have any experience with this upgrade?
