    Silver Bullet 2017 JKU

Here's my alignment info. I plan on correcting the camber issue with shims (jeep pulls to the right). Another member mentioned to me in another thread that my castor is too positive. Two offroad shops in my area both said they thought my caster was fine. Wouldn't changing my caster less positive...

    Ball joint deletes

Offroad alignment shop, as well as second offroad shop didn't seem to think caster was off so I just went with what they said. I suppose I could just lengthen the upper control arms a bit to bring it forward. But that should make wobble more likely than less shouldn't it? Stock is 6 degrees...

    Silver Bullet 2017 JKU

Before I was complete with the suspension upgrade, I also upgraded to the MC steering linkage (drag link and tie rod). Literally everything up front is brand new. So that's why I'm thinking the wobble has to be because of the ball joints just not being beefy enough. Can I just take my current...

Lol. When we had our house built, specifically had them do a 9ft garage. After the lift, still room for a rooftop rack if I want.

Man I've been too busy! Completed the suspension upgrades end of June. Since then, been trying to diagnose some death wobble and alignment issues. Anyways, here's a pic! I love the height. Love the look.

    Ball joint deletes

Who's running ball joint deletes? I just lifted my rig, including a brand new UD44 front axle on 38s. From the get go I'm getting death wobble between 25-35 mph and only when one tire rolls over a bump. At that speed, if both tires roll over a bump there is no issue. High speeds no problem and...

    Run2jeepn's JKU Build

Hey I'm guessing your ball joint delete is American iron? How have those been working out for you? Is your rig a daily driver, or just used for offroading?

Colorado JK Dana 30 and misc suspension

What did you do with parts taken off your rig? I've got a Dana 30 front axle off my 2017 JKU. 36K miles on it. Never took it offroad, perfect condition other than normal wear and tear. Also have to get rid of all my stock suspension parts. Should I just take them to the scrapyard?

Here's some pictures showing the updates so far. I am going slow, don't have a lot of time each day to work on it. Thankfully I still have my '06 TJ to drive around. Enjoy!

    Silver Bullet 2017 JKU

Thanks Danarch I am re-gearing to 4.88. Thankfully I only have to re-gear my rear axle since I bought the Dana 44 Ultimate already with 4.88 gears. The lift kit comes with adjustable control arms. The lift kit also comes with exhaust spacers, that will solve my driveshaft problem until I am...

    Silver Bullet 2017 JKU

Well I bought Silver Bullet in Jul of '17. I bought a no frills Sport model instead of the Rubicon. Seriously, no frills, I don't even have power locks/windows. My reasoning was most of the stuff I pay extra for on the Rubicon I would either be taking it off when doing a lift, or I just...
