2015 JK Sport, just went from 3:21 to 4:88 and at 80mph only 3k rpms....manual.

@Anybodyhome , They are original shafts. Only the rear blew a universal. Unsure but experience tells me, they don't last forever! LOL. When I dropped off for gear change, 3 weeks ago, I asked them to look into a vibration from floor board and steering wheel....generally that's a drive line...

I was actually thinking of getting one...rethinking that now though after this discussion. I don't believe pulling it is a problem....when it's empty but to make it an overland trailer and NOT exceed tongue weight....different story.

Man that just seems crazy... I used my 5X8 trailer with 6 sheets of plywood and no issues pulling it...with 3:21 gears. I wonder what the difference is... of course, FL is WWWWWAAAYYYYY flatter than WI!

Is your JK stock? I've seen a lot of modified JK tow overland trailers and they are greater than the M101 in weight... I understand that there is more to towing than just the weight...personal capabilities play a significant role... I have been considering the same task as you @JKTimmah ... let...

DOn't let mileage scare ya...especially since it's always been yours! I am the second owner of my 2 door JK and I just turned 131K miles...runs like a top. It is base model so no extra electronic gizmos...manual 6 speed, manual windows, after market stereo, soft top, bimini top. ~3.5 inch...

Yep! That's the one i would be considering... If i can get even 5 deg lower temp from what ever temp i have during the summer...it'll be $ well spent!

Understand @BLACKJKU ... I may give it a try...I don't think it'll hurt...just don't want to mangle a perfectly good hood. I usually run 210-214 deg right now but we still haven't hit the mid 90s yet...
