US Army retired. Our 2012 Wrangler is my 6th Jeep. Previous Jeeps were: 1955 Willy's wagon, 1968 Wagoneer, 1977 Cherokee Chief, 2000 Cherokee XJ, 2006 Commander. I drove the Cherokee Chief from North Carolina to Alaska in May '77 and the Willys from Tempe, AZ. to Alaska in December 1981 (not a smart move!).
