I believe I have confirmed that it is indeed the PCV (valve). I used a hose to listen for the noise (ear plug in the other). The source of the noise was right in front of the PCV hose connection on the intake manifold. I pulled the PCV and cleaned it out with some Berrymann's B12 carburator...

thanks tJKrider, sorry I must have missed that. I've seen something similar to this on another vehicle, Basically crank pressure leaks out through the harmonic balancer seal and squeals as it vibrates. Sure wish there was a way to relocate that PCV. Looks like a major pain in the ass to replace.

The noise came back. I used a long piece of hose to listen for the source. None of the pulley wheels made any noise. Just by accident I bumped the small shock that puts tension on the tensioner and the noise went away. I've sprayed some WD40 on the botton anchor(bolt) and the top and the noise...

it was random. Seemed like every time I crawled underneath it would stop LOL. Freaking gremlins:ROFLMAO:. Curious to know if you have the same belt material on your water pump pulley. I was going to try to use a hose to listen and see if I could pinpoint the source. Stethoscope was worthless...

tjKrider, I am not sure but I think I found the issue. I guess time will tell but the squeak is gone. My water pump pulley had some belt material transfered to it. I took some emery cloth to it while it was idling to clean it up. Nice and shiny now. Let me know if this fixes yours.

Thanks tjKrider, yeah I've tried the water test on the pulleys (WD40 as well). Stethoscope was not helpful either :( . It comes and goes on mine. 2022 with 29K miles. I'll look into the PCV valve as well. Thank you very much for sharing what you have tried and I will let you know if I figure it out.

Did you ever find the culprit? Having the exact same noise on my 2022 Gladiator Rubicon.
