Wipers Front Acting Up: 2011 JKU

I've done some searching and although there are many discussions on wipers it's still unclear to me the solution.

Wipers don't always park
Wipers sometimes intermittent doesn't work
One time they wouldn't stop.

I see several write ups of people replacing the motor and the entire arm assembly...this might have todo with noise and bushings.

Is my issue just a no matter needed or is there a module or switch at work here?

I also have a to-do list that includes fixing the intermittent wiper function on our 2015.
I took out the motor assembly once and didn't see any glaring issues.
Re-installing it didn't solve the issue - DUH.

A new motor is probably the right answer.
