Wheel speed sensor

Did a four wheel tire rotation moving the rears straight forward to the front and the rears crossed.
Now I am getting a trouble light and code for the left front wheel sensor fail.
The left front tire is newer than the right front so it has more tread but everything else is the same.
I reset it but it comes back after driving about 5 miles. Both sensors were new when I put new bearings on the fronts 6 months ago.
Any thoughts?

You could swap the 2 front tires and then see if the problem moves to the right side.

I assume you are not referring to the wheel speed sensor, but the TMPS (air pressure) sensors?

Wheel sensor became unplugged while doing the tire rotation. Plug is damaged and the lock does not engage.

Working on a fix.
