Thank you. It's incurable, but slow growing and the chemo slows it down even more. And as far as chemo goes, it's not bad. It's once a month, I feel like crap for a couple days, then it gets better. When I was diagnosed, I was told to expect about 5 years. That was twelve years ago, and I was even able to keep working and teaching up until this year. So I'm on the right side of the bell curve. During that 12 years, I was also diagnosed with throat cancer. After a radical neck dissection, weekly (different) chemo, and daily radiation, that one is gone. That treatment was MUCH harsher, so I can't complain too much about the stuff I still have.

That throat cancer is caused by HPV. HPV causes 70% of throat cancers and 90% of cervical cancers. HPV is found in virtually 100% of the population that was either too old to get the HPV vaccine when it was released, or chose not to. On average, 13,000 people a year are diagnosed with throat cancers and another 13,000 with cervical cancer. 80% of those 26,000, or 20,800 people, have cancer because of HPV. The vaccine is 86% effective. That means that 17,888 of those cases are completely preventable.
Get your kids vaccinated.
Glad to hear the Dr's were wrong about how long you had. That's about the only time we like to hear they're wrong! I do feel your pain though Dirty. I lost my dad to throat cancer 5 years ago. He went to the ER on a Friday for having trouble swallowing and coughing up blood. By Sunday he had passed away. We never knew he was sick. My prayers will stay with you.
Once in the 70s we headed out to a late fall bush party ( fashionable here back then) had my chums draw straws for the trunk passenger in my dad's Bel Air. It started to snow see, and we needed extra weight in the back with the 24 of Molsen Canadian, EH. Good Times.
Big trunks were popular back when Drive In movies were huge...
We still have a two-screen drive in. Double features on each. The owners clearly grew up in the trunk passengers day, because they charge by the vehicle, not the person.
Got the new wheels and tires installed on the wife’s Jeep today. Some before and after. They said she good easily fit 35” someday. it would need to be regeared first.

Thanks, I have them on my Rubi and really like them. They are a more quiet than the KM2. Haven‘t driven much on them, but the E2 load rating seems pretty smooth. The guy at the tire shop said the E2 has same load but at a lower pressure and should be equal to the C rated. I told her “no more telling me the tires don’t have enough traction”.
Would it be possible to get a measurement front and back fender flare. Centreline of wheel ground to bottom of fender flare . I have the same setup with roughly same size tires & colour matched drooping flares
Doing same lift so just trying to get an idea how it will sit compared to what I have now . Whenever you have a moment . Would really appreciate it . Thank you sir

I found that if you take out your HVAC vent covers, you can connect a shop vac hose to them to pump heat to the back seat. I rigged up a spray can cover as an adapter.
I have a more elegant and permanent solution coming, I just need to work up the courage to drive a hole saw through one of the ducts in the dash. I also need to figure out what kind of adhesive/sealant I should use.

There are small electric heaters you can mount behind your center console. Have you considered those?

Nope... I didn't even know that was a thing.
Sure is... I had a soft top JY with canvas doors and a chopped up floorpan. I used one in it. Worked a charm.

One obvious benefit to this method is that it wouldn't interfere with your ability to heat the front seats.
Plus there's no need to cut holes in anything.

Operation 'Mud Flap and useless slider fill-in' is back on track...
Mocked up patterns for both the front & back, then ensured that they would be the same (mirrored) layout required on the other side.
Alignment is off because they are just clamped in place, but these show the idea of what i am trying to achieve.

Will do @Speartip It may be a couple of days and we are in between storms here. I belI’ve you asked about “rake” with this lift. If you look at the side picture of gives a pretty idea of the rake that still exist. To me is seems minimal.Would it be possible to get a measurement front and back fender flare. Time to dial-down the brightness of the LED backlights in these switches.
At the same time, I’ll try to be creative and make some type of vinyl sticker with the wife’s Cricut cutter that helps identify what each switch controls.
I’m planning to use 1/2” X 1/2” white squares w/ cutouts to identify these (4) items:
Trail camera
Side/fog lights
Center light
Reverse lights
I’ll apply the sticker over the LED to allow the identifier to be seen through the cutout when the switch is on. If I use while vinyl, they will also be visible when the switches are off.
I may just use a small arrow pointing down for the camera, (2) small arrows pointing up for the fog lights, a large arrow pointing up for the center light, and a pair pointing down on the reverse light switch; unless I can get some better ideas here.
