Hi, new to the forum. I just got a new-to-me 2013 JKU a couple weeks ago. I’ve been trying to figure out how to use the USB port in the center console for music, but it just won’t read. Any help would be much appreciated.

My 2014 (may it rest in peace) didn't have a usb in the center console that I'm aware of, so perhaps it is an after market one.
Or it is just for power, which is probably what is going on. Just a charging port for toys.

Apple or Android? My console (UConnect) USB never worked for my android phones but my kids' iPhone would always connect
