I have a 2012 JKUR I got used with a few upgrades and have done many since. I do not know if it has had any programming done prior and was looking at getting a Tuner for it to do the tires, ratios, and various other programming. Any recommendations on what people have used. I have also heard the pcm needs to be unlocked, or are there programmer that do this for you as well I used to tune Hondas when I was in that scene but went this way which is more fun

Can't help if you are are talking about tuning the engine, but most folks on here use JScan. Allows you to do all kinds of computer mods to the vehicle. App is free, but then a 'license' for your vehicle is around $20 maybe $30 and then there is a blue tooth OSBDII connector for $20. Use the one that the app suggests. Works great an is a must for any DIY Jeeper

If you're trying to modify the ignition, timing, air / fuel tables, you'll need a program such as HPTuners and someone to tune it for you.
