Valve pressure going bad on one tire. Can I replace just one without change all four and all read ok?

So you're saying a TPMS sensor is faulty? Yes, just replace the faulty one. There are a lot of counterfeit sensors out there so be sure to purchase from a reputable source.

I'm sure a lot of folks will say just turn off the system altogether, but I actually like it. That is an option with JScan, however if you don't care either way.

Yep you can replace just one. Just a thought though…..if one went bad (battery died?) the others may not be far behind.

On vehicles with actual pressure readings, I like the TPMS system. If it’s just a light, I turn it off.

I had a bad sensor earlier this year. I was replacing tires a little sooner than planned so I replaced all 4 of them with the tires.

I like this qualification. I would find it much less useful if it didn't display the actual values. One of my tires was 2psi lower than the others. I checked it and found a nail. If those that don't like the system can also visually see a 2psi difference in a tire you're more dialed in than I am! Not to mention it's way faster than putting a gauge on each tire. Could I live without it? Absolutely. I could also live without a tach or a fuel gauge but find that information useful, too. 😉

I’m in this camp. My F150 just has a light. No pressures shown. One of the sensors went out and the light was annoying me. So I used Forscan to shut it off.

My 2016 Jeep shows the pressures. I had one sensor fail. I rotated the tires and the failed sensor moved with it. Confirmed bad sensor. All new sensors fixed it up. I like it. I’ll keep it.

I don’t care if someone shuts it off. Just like ducks on the dash. I don’t like them and don’t have any. But I don't get offended by other people having them. I toss them out when they get put on my Jeep….usually….if there is a Bronco nearby I put the duck on the Bronco…….

Same here - to each their own.

I installed TPMS sensors on my travel trailer tires too and that feeds into the OEM dash display on my SuperDuty. Very useful. Obviously the world kept turning just fine without this tech so I wouldn't go so far as to call it "necessary" it's just a convenience.

Some tech I like some is an answer looking for a problem. 🤷🏻

I keep My Little Pony's in the Jeep center consol for the Broncos.

I like the Broncos. Probably more reliable than our Jeeps! I don’t care for the whole ducking thing but it doesn’t cause me to get angry like some asshole Jeep owners do over it. I just think it’s funny to move any that I find on my Jeep over to Broncos! I certainly am not going to go buy ducks to put on other vehicles! But I will relocate some!

I just throw them in the trash. I don't like random people putting things on my vehicle.

I don’t understand the ducking thing. Pfft.
