I have a 2007, 2 door JK with a soft top (not the vehicle in the attached images.

My current roof rack is the Barricade one pictured in the last 2 photos. The snorkel that I own is the Red Rock model in photo #1.

The issue: the roof rack sits too far forward and out to the sides of the Jeep along the A pillars where it mounts to attach the snorkel. I intend to keep this style of snorkel, I prefer it over the low mount and the internally routed versions.

Im currently looking at the Garvin Adventure Rack as pictured in photos #2 and #3. From what I can tell, the bars sit closer to the A pillars and run in front of them rather than outwardly to the sides.

Opinions on fitment are welcome, the photos are specifically to facilitate discussion.

Preferably, id like to hear from someone who has the specific Garvin rack and what snorkel works with it OR someone with the snorkel to let me know what rack or modifications they used to go with it. Id like to see the set up too if possible.

Anyone else with a similar model Wrangler [2007 - 2018 2 door JK] that has any combination of roof rack and snorkel that they run together, let me know what you've got and by all means show off your rig in the thread as well.

snorkel shouldn't mess with most roof racks honestly. i mean, the snorkel intake comes up the passenger side usually so it's pretty far from where most racks mount. what brand rack you looking at? if it's one of those crazy tall ones it might be close but shouldn't actually interfere. worst case you just gotta run it a little further back on the crossbars

There's a dude that I see here and there around my area. He has one of those caged racks and that style snorkel on it. Next time I see him I'll try to snap a pic or talk to him for ya.

That would be awesome.

I saw a wrangler with the Garvin rack that I want, sitting in a parking lot. It looks like the snorkel should fit it with a minor modification like longer bolts to fit through both the snorkel and rack mounting brackets or something to that extent. I still havent seen a Jeep around here with an A pillar mounted roof rack AND a snorkel.
