Currently running 3.21 gears, 32.7 tall tires with Sprintex Supercharger Dyno test at 375 horsepower.
Thought about 3.73 gears but am Re-gearing to 4.11. RPM will change at 70 to 2453 and 2804 at 80. I can live with that and with the extra HP it will not be sluggish.

It sure would make it quicker off the line and if your foot is in it to many times your tires won't last long.

I have 3.73 and the vast majority of my off-road time is overland- not a lot of rock climbing or serious off-road. The 3.73 gives me great highway cruising and provides enough torque for what I do. I've also borrowed a tear drop trailer towed it thru a variety of conditions and roadways.
I considered gearing it to a 4.11, but opted not to only because I do more of this:

And not so much of this:

Yes I see. My need just a little more pulling my trailer with 4x5x2 box full of camping gear, 30 gallons of water for hot showers, sink. You could say 5 star camping is better then ruffing it. I am ok pulling it on paved or gravel roads with 3.21gear. Off road #2 or #3 trails or desert sand is where the 4.11 gears will give me no problem getting where I want to camp.
