Please help, 2011 jeep wrangler jk heating core flush.

In the below videos the guys cut one of the hosesto the heating core, is that necessary or did they just not want to dig for the other end?


 
You cut the hose then install the piece that is used to flush the heater core with clamps, then it stays there.

I was going to do the core first then hook the system back up and do the method where you run Distilled water through it drain rinse and repeat


To do the core just disconnect the hose that is the return to the engine at the engine. Get a garden hose end that will fit into the heater hose and turn the water hose on and reverse flush the heater core back through the engine and out the lower radiator hose.

Cool, thank you. I just dont want to cut anything if i dont have to.
