Thats...that's an interesting phone. I can see right through it.
LOL KINDA HARD TO PHOTO A PHONE WHEN YOUR HOLDING IT... CUT A PUECE OF FOAM TO GO BEHIND IT NOW NO RATTLES
I recently bought this one. Has a magnet you put inside your case. Holds the phone really well. Small footprint for the adjustable mount. However, I find I don't use it much. Previous owner ran a lightning cable from the radio so I hook up my iphone to it for Apple CarPlay and just lay it on the center console.

That's great until you either go for the phone and open the door, or knock it out onto the ground while opening the door.
My phone sits in the little "slot pocket" on the left side of the center console.
The charging cable is long enough to reach and it is 100% out of the way with no chance of it interfering with any other function or action required while driving (or exiting the vehicle).
If you think the door is a good place for your phone, I would recommend the area designed as a door pull/grab handle over the latch area.
