Replaced my 2016 oil cooler today. Easy repair. I bought a new Mopar 68596317AB. This is the updated part with the better/non figure 8 seals. Mine wasn’t leaking badly. More like a small seep. Once I got it out, I found it was leaking from the large seal on the underside. I thought the 2016 got the updated oil cooler from the factory but apparently not.
Well, it has the updated cooler now. I thought about going with the aluminum one but ended up deciding to go with the Mopar one. If it fails prematurely, I might try the aluminum one.
