Hello all,

I've got a 2017 Wrangler Unlimited Sport.

I'm about to put new tires and rims on.

I know I want 33" tires and 11" width on them. But I'm having a hard time figuring out a) what tires, and b) what rims. Specifically what kind of offset rims.

At the end of the day, I want the tires to JUST slightly stick out past the fenders.

Help?

If you're going for the stock wheel size, you'll want a 17x8.5" wheel with 5.2" backspacing. For a 33, you could either go with a 285/75R17 (the metric equivalent), or a 33x12.5R17.

With that setup you won't have any rubbing issues, your tires will fit almost perfectly within the fender fender flares (they'll still out just slightly, but not much), etc.

The important part here is the 5.2" backspacing. In the Jeep world we don't really use the term offset, as most Jeep wheels will use the term backspacing instead.
