Hey Everyone,

Not looking to beat a dead horse or get roasted either, just some advice. I've owned an 1977 CJ5 and 1980 CJ7 but not an expert by any means. Can anyone offer some advice / recommendations regarding a lift and modifications that I may be purchasing other than saying don't do it... unless you really think this would be a bad idea? Thanks.

For my 2015 Jeep JKU Sahara I was looking at purchasing the following:
- Rough Country 3.5" Lift Kit with Control Arm Drop
- Rough Country exhaust modification to clear front driveshaft
- Rough Country adjustable track bar
- Extended brake lines
- A drag link flip kit (unknown manufacture at this point)

I know that I do not want to use a dropped pitman arm.

From what I understand so far the adjustable track bar / drag link flip kit will keep my front end geometry in line for appropriate highway driving and safety.

Is there anything that I'm missing or not understanding correctly?

Thanks for any advice.

Matt

From what i've heard everywhere on Forums is stay away from Rough Country because the lift will be just like there name.

You'll want adjustable track bars front and rear, adjustable control arms front. Also a different front driveshaft with a slip yoke.
