JK Moab Backspacing?

Is anyone able to measure and confirm the backspacing of a 17" JK Moab? The internet overwhelmingly says all JK wheels are 6.25", but some say 6".

I didn't measure them when I had them, but I bought them with the assumption they were 6.25".

I had spoke to AEV at one point, and they told me on the phone they were indeed 6.25".

What would be very helpful for me is a pic of the measurement being taken with a straight edge across the back side. Then I can compare to my TJ Moabs and account for differences in wheel construction like the bead seats being different thicknesses. That potential .25" might matter in my case.

If I still had them I'd be happy to take a picture for you, unfortunately I do not.

I get what you're saying though. Getting tired of the 16" tire selection by chance?

That's the plan. I dented my spare recently. So making the move away from 16" is feeling more urgent.

As best as I can tell, all JK 17x7.5" Moabs are 6" backspace.

Very interesting! I'd always heard (and been told) they were 6".

Have you asked Blaine by chance? I know he frequently uses them on his TJ builds.
