Hi,

I'm having a burnt smell when accelerating hard (3000+ rpm), I have no clue what it could be. It smell like burnt grease.

Temp gage is normal. Check engine light is not on.
Smell is not coming from vent.
I can smell it even if I'm on highway at 60+ mph, so it must come from the engine bay?

I have a small head gasket oil leak at the front of the engine but its not close to the exhaust manifold.

Any idea what to check first?

I think you answered your own question. But try this, turn on your ac to the vents and click the recirculating button. This will close off the air coming from the engine bay and use the cabin air. If you don't get that burnt smell then I'd put money on the oil that's already on the block. Oil doesn't have to hit the exhaust to smell burnt. The block can get hot enough to make the oil smell
