Bright LED headlights

Hello to all of you! A new JK owner here (2012 Sport), and I will make a new post about that this weekend. But, I have a bit of a concern I want to try to get rectified right away due to safety.

My 2012 came used from the dealership lot with aftermarket LED headlights. Honestly, they are terrible. They are pretty darn blue to begin with and they provide very little low beam function. When you hit the high beams mode on them there is almost no increase discernible. I’d imagine somebody in the past just got some cheapies from Amazon and threw them on there.

We live in a really rural area, the kind without street lights and plenty of not only small mammals, but deer, elk, bear, etc. crossing the road. Plus, I’m not exactly getting any younger myself guys. So, I am hoping to hear suggestions for pretty powerful LED replacements. I have read on the forum here that these are good:

But “good” is relative. If you guys had to drive on highways and backroads for 6 hours in the pitch black while avoiding animals that may spring out at any time, totaling your Jeep and sending your loved one(s) to the hospital, what headlamps would you choose?

yeah dude leds are way better than stock. got some aftermarket ones on my hemi and theyre night and day difference. just make sure whatever you get doesnt blind everyone on the road lol. some of the cheap ones are trash and point all over the place. worth spending a little extra for good ones that actually aim right
 
I've been running ProComp LEDs for five years and they've been excellent. If you can find them, the Mopar LEDs are good as well.

JW Speaker is the brand everyone swears by though, but I don't think they're the end all be all, especially for the price.
 
Thanks guys! I really appreciate that and that you took some time to help point me in the right direction. I’d imagine I’ll find some YouTube video for aiming these things, but if any of you have any really good wisdom about aiming, please let me know what I really need to know.

I have those headlights and love them. The cutoff from the projector is clean and the highbeam throws the light nice and far. The halos alone are brighter than OEM light lol.
