This trailer was something that I dreamed about, but never thought I would actually own. I started out buying a military M416 trailer which had a roof top tent. We used it for around 3 years. It works great and we can pack a lot of stuff in that trailer. However, while getting older, my wife wasn't that excited about using the ladder to climb into the roof top tent especially in years to come.

That is what sold her on the X3. Having the 3 steps to walk up was huge for us. That and having an inside space in bad weather along with all the other accessories and a designated space for them is so nice. I always had dreams of building out that M416. Unfortunately, I never got started and now I can scratch it off my to do list! The X3 has a 34 gallon water tank, a sink with water pump, a hot water heater, a shower hose, a Weber grill, two 5 gallon propane tanks, a Dometic fridge/freezer, inverter, two burner stove, a 270° awning with walls, built in LED lights inside and out, and tons of storage. Looking forward to packing this thing up and trying it out. Here are some pictures taken in my driveway once I got back home.

Pricey is relative. $60,000 is more than I'd spend on a camp trailer, but we're not campers. But I've spent way more than that on diving or racing or 4x4's.
For a friend of mine, this is the ideal camper. I'm guessing she spent $250,000-$300,000 on it. The makers "ER" logo is ironic, because she's an ER Physician. Her husband is a High Muckety Muck at one of the larger companies making high end bike components.

[Edit] I went to EarthRoamer and checked. These things go for $1,900,000. Plus options...

And my buds an I thought we had it 'good' hunting Moose in the cold November (Circa late 80s) with a beat up Mazda B2200 truck and a leaky canvas tent. Times have changed. Never did harvest a Moose, but I did get my only White Tail deer with the Mazda one night on the highway. Good Times
