I have a 2008 wrangler 3.8 6 speed project that I am working on just installed a new caravan motor got it all running good finally started to drive it and it pops right out of first gear unless I hold it when accelerating. I looked up what others have said with no definitive awnser some say its the shift tower some say its in the trans . Have seen peope rebuild trans with same issue sooo.. before i spend $450 on a new dorman shift tower figured I would post here what is the most common fix for this issue?
