Just upgraded to falcon shocks and noticed the front shocks have an offset stud. It also has a metal hook/hanger on the top. What is the offset studs purpose? It seems to put the shock at an angle unless I turn it around label inwards towards the frame.

And if i get a rebuilt tipm? Can i go aftermarket or is that also an issue?

Thanks everyone for the assist and input. So I take it that the best overall choice is the 5.38 on the automatic transmission. Is it worth it to upgrade a Dana 30 to 5.38 or swap out the front end Dana 30 for a Dana 44 then upgrade to 5.38 gearing?

I would assume though with the p0016 error code at the exact same time the acceleration issue started and with all sensors replaced the timing chain is bad unless the TIPM could cause a false p0016 code?
