Dorman, if Im not mistaken, recently released an aluminum housing for the 12-13 JK's. The 14 and up is in fact a different filter+housing. So OP, did you correct your issue going to the correct filter? Going to guess this thread is still TBC?

Looking under my Jeep I noticed that my drag link 'seems' bent. This is a stock drag link, but it is bent, correct? Also, shouldn't these two pivot points be parallel? I have some bump steer and figured if I remove the bracket, those two points will level and thus bump-steer would be eliminated:

Update from a trip I did today to a 4x4 shop for an alignment. All hilly highway, mostly 65 to 75 MPH. I was actually under 17mpg. But that's fine by me. Im lifted pretty high w aftermarket bumpers and a 73lb winch.
